Organic (White Hat) Search Engine Optimization

What is it?

When people say "organic SEO" (search engine optimization), they almost always mean the unpaid results of the search engines (i.e. Google). We are a search engine optimization company and we take the meaning of "organic" one step further. We realize "organic SEO" is not limited to what shows up in the "natural" search engine results, but it includes the methodologies used to achieve such rankings. I won't kid you, there's a lot into it and it can get quite complicated, but that's why we're here. We're here to help you get the results through SEO.

SEO techniques can be classified into two broad categories: techniques that search engines recommend as part of good design, and those techniques of which search engines do not approve. The search engines attempt to minimize the effect of the latter, among them spamdexing. Some industry commentators have classified these methods, and the practitioners who employ them, as either white hat SEO, or black hat SEO. White hat SEO tends to produce results that last a long time, whereas black hats anticipate that their sites may eventually be banned either temporarily or permanently once the search engines discover what they are doing. A search engine optimization technique is considered white hat SEO if it conforms to the search engines' guidelines and involves no deception. We can say the legal SEO is a white hat SEO. At Light Visions Web Design we only practice white hat SEO. It's better for us and our Clients.
